====== Titles of Office ====== An act of the National Assembly defining official titles of office. ===== Provisions ===== - No person in the Dominion may call themselves any of the titles mentioned in this section unless they meet the requirements of that title - All official titles are required to remain gender neutral - Any title ending with -man or -men is to be changed to -member - The Emperor and the Royal Family's titles are excluded from this act - **Titles of Office** - An Assemblymember is a member in the National Assembly - A Chancellor is a member of the Chancellery - A Justice is a member of the High Court - A Minister is a member of the Premier's ministry - A officer refers to any person serving in a constitutional office - **Titles of Individuals** - Any person retains the right to use "Citizen" in their name, provided: - they completed the citizenship examination, or - were granted citizenship by the Emperor - Any person retains the right to use "Veteran" in their name, who - is a citizen, and - voluntarily served in the military for their mandated term, and - was not dishonorably discharged - Any person who was killed in the line of duty serving in the military or as an official, is posthumously granted "Honorable" in their name - **Personal Titles** - The gender titles of Mr, Ms, and Mrs, as well as their long forms, Mister, Miss, and Missus, are hereby banned from use in official government proceedings and documents - Any Title of Office shall be used in place of personal titles - If an individual does not hold an office, the following diminutives are to be used as a replacement: - R. for resident, or - C. for Citizen, or - V. for Veteran, or - O. for Officer, or - H. for Honorable - Alternatively, individuals are to be referred to by their full name only ===== Authority ===== //Nihil Obstat//, High Court of Keithieopia //Imprimatur//, ⊗ /HIH Keith/\\ ''Emperor of Keithieopia'' 27th Unomar 19 IY ⇔ January 27th, 2021 HY
